10. C-3PO
(Voiced by Anthony Daniels)
I know this is going to be a bit controversial, but it’s just my opinion.
He comes in handy more times than I care to mention, like his translation skills and comedic factor. Always getting the gang out of sticky situation and getting them into some too. Without C-3PO we would never be able to understand R2-D2.
9. LO-LA59
(Non Voiced role)
Also named LOLA, she is such a small droid, which adds to her cuteness factor. It is Leia’s personal droid in the Obi Wan series.
On numerous occasions through out the series she comes in handy and fiercely protects Leia. Even attempting to cut her free to rescue Leia from some kidnappers.
I would personally love a little LOLA in my life.
8. D-O
(Voiced by Director J.J. Abrams)
This poorly treated droid who slowly built a bond with BB-8, Rey and Finn during The Rise of Skywalker, was quick to help the Resistance when the needed intel on his former masters.
He also tickled my funny bone the way he wouldn’t be shy to say ‘no thank you’ and just roll away when he didn’t want to do something.
He’s just adorable.
7. NED-B
(Not voiced, played by Dustin Ceithamer)
He’s a non verbal loader droid that helped Tala Durith in an underground movement known as the Hidden Path in the Obi Wan series.
In the short time we got to know him he rescues Obi Wan from Darth Vader, aids Obi Wan and Leia in escaping and sacrifices himself to try and save Tala’s life from storm trooper.
He may not of made a sound but his actions spoke volumes.
6. L3 -37
(Voiced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge)
As my fiancé can vouch for this fact, humour is a one way ticket to my heart. L3-37 really does tickle me.
She’s a custom pilot droid that believes in free droids and that Lando Calrissian has a crush on her.
Her human like personality just won me over completely. Unfortunately her love of droid rights and leading an uprising was what led to her demise.
5. K-2SO
(Voiced by Alan Tudyk)
He was a sassy but vital part of Cassian Andor’s team of rebels in Rouge One. He was fairly independent and frequently disobeyed Cassian’s orders, which made me love him all the more.
He was originally designed as an Imperial security droid, but in the end he gave his life to save Cassian and Jyn as they attempted to steal the Death Star Plans, a sacrifice that would change the course of the galaxy.
I also love Alan Tudyk in so many different movies and series.
4. R2-D2
(Voiced by Ben Burtt)
Other fans may argue R2-D2 should be higher on the list, but you can blame the franchise for bringing out more droids that pull at my heart strings.
Never has a beep or a boop has as much of a meaning when it comes to this famous astromech droid. He has seen some adventures from the Clone Wars, the Rebellion and the Resistance.
I actually do a good R2-D2 impression of the woaaaaoooo noise he does.
3. IG-11/12
(Voiced by Taika Waititi)
Originally hired as a assassin to kill Grogu IG -11 became a nanny droid who protected little Grogu from harm.
Towards the end of the series IG-11 sacrifices himself by self-destructing during the Clash on Nevarro.
He was rebuilt by the Anzellans to be a body that Grogu could operate and hilariously could respond with ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to Mando in S3.
2. BB-8
(Voiced by Bill Hader)
My favourite skittish but loyal astromech, BB-8 accompanied Poe Dameron on many missions for the Resistance. When Poe was captured by the First Order, BB-8 fled into the desert with a vital clue to the location of Luke.
He in his time on screen helped both Rey and Poe. He has a special place in my heart for taking in D-0, his mannerisms and his fast action roll.
1. B2EMO
(Voiced by Dave Chapman)
Also known as BEE is a groundmech salvage unit that has served the Andor family for years. BEE is an inquisitive droid who banters with Andor like a brother and is prepared to lie to protect his family at any cost.
We described him as a dog the way he follows his family around and protects them.
The most loveable part of his personality is his stutter. In contrast to most droids, Bee was a valued member of the community and family. With what looks like real feelings and emotions.
I love him!

I do love the little mouse droids (MSE-6) from a New Hope and more recently in Mandalorian S3, with their cheeky pushy antics like running away from Chewy’s growl or trying to bash R5-D4.

Disney World is one of the most magical places on earth, but for those who are gluten-free, it can be a little overwhelming trying to find safe and delicious dining options. Luckily, there are many gluten-free restaurants throughout the resort, making it easier to enjoy all the fun without the worry.
In this post I have gone in to detail finding out which restaurants cater to gluten intolerant individuals. As a coeliac myself, I spend a lot of time before going to venues worrying whether or not I’ll be able to enjoy myself or if I’ll be settling for a salad.

Although Blaze Pizza do say they are Gluten Free it is worth mentioning with Blaze being a pizza restaurant there is the risk of cross-contamination. As a head up the management do say it is okay for people avoiding gluten but they will use the same oven for all the pizza’s.
Medium Budget ($15.00 – $34.99)
This resort I have found has the largest number of eateries with some gluten free options but some of the least amount of gluten free adaptations. These venues are not solely ran by Disney and therefore reserve the right to not offer alternatives.
That’s not to say you won’t be able to enjoy a day or night here. With some smart choices and knowing what is and isn’t gluten free you will be able to enjoy a meal with your party. If you are to go to some of the some or limited lists always ask ahead or the server before ordering.

What I have found when trying to find gluten free places to eat in Universal is that, the website is difficult to navigate and doesn’t offer a filter to allow you to look at gluten free options, Some venues don’t have any gluten free markings and some menu’s aren’t available online. I will of course on my next trip find out some more information and keep scouring the internet to find out if there is any more information about gluten free alternative.

At Universal Studios Florida, there are several quick-service restaurants that offer gluten-free options. The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley offers gluten-free fish and chips, while the Fast Food Boulevard in Springfield has gluten-free burgers and hot dogs. At Mel’s Drive-In, you can enjoy a gluten-free burger and fries.
For those who prefer sit-down restaurants, Lombard’s Seafood Grille offers a gluten-free menu, including seafood, steak, and salads. Finnegan’s Bar and Grill also has gluten-free options, including chicken and beef dishes.

Don’t worry if you aren’t able to research dining options ahead of time. You can ask to speak to a chef or manager at any restaurant within Universal Orlando Resort, or at any of our hotels once you’re here. Let them know which guest in your party has a food allergy or intolerance, and what the allergy/intolerance is. Our culinary staff will make every effort to prevent that allergen from coming into contact with any part of that guest’s meal.

In September 2023 we are going to be travelling to Orlando, Florida for 15 days. Although I am starting a Disney based blog and business, I have never been to a Disney resort. Not even Euro Disney! As a family we loved Disney, but our parents weren’t keen on taking us to any of the resort. Over the years things have gotten in the way and partners have not supported my love of Disney until… Olly. My wonderful fiancé.
Olly is also a big Disney fan. Not as much as me, but it’s lovely to finally meet someone with a mutual love. He has actually been to Disney World and Disneyland Paris many times with his family growing up.
So I am quite understandably very excited, being an avid Disney fan I have been planning this since I was little. I stay up to date with all the latest news and announcements, and I watch Disney vlogs daily. I have planned our days almost to the second with a little bit of wiggle room because you never know how you’re going to feel on the day. I’d like to see a lot of Florida too, as I’ve never been to the states.

These plans are going to change quite a bit depending what we have done on previous days and how we are feeling. I’ll be honest, Olly would love to do Halloween Horror Nights but I am a chicken when it comes to jump scares. I can watch all the Horror movies at home no problem, but I see it being something that would make me more uncomfortable then enjoyable. And I’d have to wear an adult nappy.
There is a lot of places I’d love to go out to eat at in Florida and shops I want to visit but it’s all down to how we feel and how much we can fit into a day. I would of loved to have gone and seen a Miami Dolphins game as it’s Olly’s American team. We’d definitely want to schedule that for another trip.
In my other posts I have put a list of restaurants and quick service locations within each resort that offer gluten free food, I won’t be able to get through most of them but I will write reviews when we are back on our experiences and where we would recommend.
